The nominal Christian may do church work, pay tithes, even sing in the choir but does not know Who Jesus really is, they know about Jesus but not personally, intimately, and they don’t fully trust Him in all their lives.

So sadly, in the day of accounts, Jesus will have to tell them “I never knew you, depart from Me”

Today there are a thousand biblical things to think about, you can spend many hundreds of hours on them but will not further your preparation for the return of Jesus. You must decide very carefully which will further your relationship with Jesus.

Remember, you must know Jesus personally, intimately, He must be the only One in your life you fully and completely trust with all your heart. You must trust Him with your very life. You must confide all things in your life to Him and know He will do the best thing for you.

This is knowing Jesus and He will recognize you as old friends when He returns.

It is so highly recommended you read the precious book The Desire of Ages written through inspiration by Ellen G. White. It is the foremost writing that details the life of Jesus completely.

Many book stores carry it, you can read it or buy it online. So highly recommended you get a hardcopy because there’s a possibility print may become scarce in the near future. That goes for the bible too.

Are you being distracted? yes even by seemingly good things. That’s how the devil works. Today, when the return of Jesus is so close, we must at all costs draw close as possible to Jesus and to develop a intimate, personal friendship with Jesus. Remember, it’s not how much biblical knowledge you have or how much work you do for the church that will save you.

Only being a personal friend with Jesus will you be saved. That means you TRUST in Jesus totally with your very life and have every faith that He will save and keep you.

Don’t be fooled folks.

Before any major event, Jesus always gives plenty of warnings before the event happens. Certainly the return of Jesus is the biggest event to ever happen and Jesus gives the signs for this event in Matthew 24.

An earthquake of magnitude 7.7 struck Indonesia yesterday. As we progress into the time of trouble, disasters of every description will increase in both magnitude and frequency. We are moving ever so near the return of Jesus, are you drawing nearer to Him?
