It is of the utmost importance to know Jesus as a personal best Friend, a Friend you totally trust in all your earthly affairs. Only then when He calls you on Resurrection morning will you hear Him and rise. You recognize His voice because you have heard it countless, many times in your life when you were alive. Otherwise, Jesus has no alternative but to tell you those awful words, “I never knew you”
The single most complete book ever written on the life of Jesus is the inspired book the Desire of Ages by Ellen G. White. A companion book is “The Great Controversy” These books are absolute must haves in order to navigate these complex days just before Jesus returns.
Both of these books can be found at various book sellers and online.
The only way you can be saved is to know Jesus, personally and intimately. He must be your daily, every minute companion, you must totally trust Him with your very life and abide by His guidance. At this time when the return of Jesus is so close, we must be trying to draw as close to Jesus as possible at all times. That means to learn all you can about Him, and you can only do this if you listen and obey the right messages. Lots of bible topics are very time consuming and we do not have years to spend for instance on histories of the bible like where the ARK ended up ETC. and so many other topics. Other distractions are getting into lengthy discussion groups that often times lead to bad and hurt feelings. Stay away from such distractions.
The devil knows the return of Jesus is SO close, he even uses bible subjects to his advantage to distract. Be keenly aware folks because deceptions are so highly developed as to possibly “fool the very elect” using the bible itself.
